No matter how long we pretend

The indifference is here to stay

The world's a stage and your roles you play

but once the act comes to an end

Will tomorrow differ from today ?

Empty words are all you say

Shattered faith cannot be mend

The indifference is here to stay

Relations left in disarray

Distrust and contempt together blend

Will tomorrow differ from today ?

You give them wings to fly away

What message do you intend to send

While inevitably you betray

For an explanation, a ear I lend
